GMAT test is a highly valuable one which is based on your writing skill as well as reading and verbal skills. It is short for Graduate Management Admission Test. Exam Pattern
There are four sections of the exam with three and a half hours to complete it.
The four sections include – Analytical writing assessment, integrated reasoning, quantitative and verbal.
• Analytical writing assessment- You have to finish one topic within 30 minutes
• Integrated Reasoning- There are 12 questions which include logic, graph interpretation, and table analysis. Time limit is 30 minutes
• Quantitative – It has 37 questions which will require you to attempt issues related to data sufficiency and problem-solving. Time limit is 75 minutes
• Verbal – It has 41 questions which involve reading, comprehension, critical reading and sentence correction.

There is no specific requirement stated by the Graduate Management Admission Council, but there are certain qualifications which are a must if you need admission in a university abroad.
You must be-
• A graduate from a recognized board or university
• Proficient in the English language.
• Minimum 18 years of age
(There is no upper limit to age for taking GMAT exam though)
However, every university has their specific eligibility requirements which you must look into if you need admission in that college.
